Devaraj Urs medical college – Kolar

The Medical Council of India (MCI) has recognised Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, a constituent college of Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research that operates under the auspices of Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust for Backward Classes, Kolar.

The college and university offices are situated in Tamaka Village, Kolar, and span a nearly 100-acre site that is covered in lush greenery. The distance between this college and Bangaluru and its international airport is 75 kilometres. With a total build up area of 85,000 square metres, the campus has a number of buildings to house the administrative, teaching/training, hospital, and hostel functions of the university and the medical college. The institution offers medical education at the undergraduate (MBBS), graduate (MD, MS), and postgraduate diploma levels. It also has ambitions to launch doctorate programmes in biochemistry, microbiology, and fellowship training in head and neck oncology.
