Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences – Bellur

With the goal of offering medical training to aspirant students from rural areas, the Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) was founded in 1986 at BG Nagar, close to Sri Adichunchanagiri Kshetra.

On January 17, 1986, in the revered presence of Padmabhushana Dr. Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji, AIMS was officially launched by the then-honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri Ramakrishna Hegde. Since its founding, AIMS has developed into a renowned institution in the area.
